New TV Review: @NewGirlOnFOX

"The New Girl" is one of the shows I was most looking forward to this fall, because I LOVE Zooey Deschanel.  She's beautiful, clever, and funny!  I loved the previews and felt like this would be a show I could really get into.

Description: Jessica "Jess" Day, a well-liked, bubbly, and adorable woman in her late 20s who is trying to get over her surprise breakup with her model boyfriend. She eventually finds a new place to stay when she moves in with three single guys.  Together, this group of friends try to help Jess learn a lot about love, life and mostly about herself, while at the same time learn a lot about themselves.

My Review:  Airing immediately after my beloved Glee, this 30-minute show is really cute!  I'll be the first to admit that Jess is an uber-dork, kind of what I would be like if I let ALL of my dorkiness hang out ALL of the time.  She is clearly over-the-top and makes the show very cute.  I'm not sure about the show's chances for longevity, because it is a bit silly, but I'm going to be recording it for the future!
