Sunday was the first day in almost a month that I'd let myself even think about shopping for clothes, and I was not disappointed! I did not go overboard, picking up a couple of cardigans and a skinny belt at Target to match outfits I already have, two pairs of shorts at Old Navy, and the BEST DEAL OF ALL... this olive green trench!Old Navy is one of the only places I buy shorts anymore, because they actual provide you with an inseam that doesn't expose you... what is up with stores and the 1-2" inseams? I hate seeing people's butts hanging out of their shorts. So kudos to Old Navy.
But as I was walking through the store, I saw this olive trench. I was hoping to find one in a brighter color, and they were on sale for $44.99. Well, I looked closer at the olive coat, and saw that the color was marked down to $12.49!!! What?! I had to get it.
Add in the 10% military discount that Old Navy offers the 1st-4th of every month, and I made out like a bandit. Not too bad on my first outing since my shopping detox. :)
Also, I used 9 coupons at the grocery store, saving over $10 and scoring a bunch of cleaning supplies. Woohoo! Love the savings.
