(not)DOING...
Grad school!!! I'm done!!! I wrapped up both my MBA and my MS in Marketing since my last Sunday Lately update. What have I been doing with my reclaimed time? Watching guilty pleasure television (Hollywood Medium, Kardashians) and starting my House of Cards binge. #FU2016 Wish I could have voted for evil Frank in the primary on Super Tuesday, but I did vote regardless.
APPRECIATING...
I'm appreciating having more time in general. I will admit, Week 1 post-grad school has been LAZY BUM week, eat my feelings week, let my shoes pile up by the door week. But my hope is that once I feel recharged a bit, I can find time to take better care of myself (read: be active and eat better) and do things I enjoy (like getting sucked into SimCity, watching Grey's Anatomy/Scandal/Jane the Virgin).
DESIGNING...
Nothing lately. I mean, little things here and there, like a newsletter for my DAR chapter, putting photos together for blog posts now that I have time to do more, things like that. Oh, and sometimes at Korean class we do this ink painting that is REALLY HARD despite the final product being crazy simple-looking. I painted hundreds of strokes before they looked like this.
HUMMING...
Selena Gomez, "Hands to Myself" because of my coworkers and I can't stop. We got Apple Music and I listen a lot to the Pop Workout station. I also got a Bluetooth add-on thingy to our ancient Bose Wave system, so we can stream music in the apartment. Funny how school ends and suddenly my life is literally has a better soundtrack!
EXPECTING...
I'm finding that if I have lower expectations of things in general, I'm less likely to be disappointed. LOL I'm trying to let go a little bit of my control freak nature, and let things happen. While I have high expectations in general, I want to let go when it doesn't matter as much. More to come on how well this works out for me.
Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds.
