Wear to Where Tour: Date Night In (and a GIVEAWAY!)

My friend Meghan got me linked up with some ladies doing a fantastic blog tour, filled with fashion and sewing bloggers sharing me-made or RTW outfits for various occasions.  My theme for this post?  Date Night In.  Now, those who know me might be like, "Aubrey, when you Netflix marathon at home, you basically just lose your bra and put on jammies."  But that's not always true!

When I think about Date Night In, I think of Friday nights.  I think of the fact that I'm usually pretty tired by that point in the week, so I dress a little more casually to the office for the day.  I wanted something that could go from my cubicle to my couch, so that by the time my husband sees me I haven't automatically devolved into jammies-monster yet.  He's always impressed if he gets home and I'm not in a muumuu, let's be real.  That makes it a date!

Top:  LOFT (exact, similar)
Necklace: Lucky Brand (similar, similar, splurge)
Jeggings (don't cringe!): Jones New York via Sam's Club (similar, similarwith jeans look)

Also, I'm barefoot, so no shoe details, but some comfy socks or slippers would work too; I probably would have worn boots or TOMS to work in this outfit depending on the weather.  I'm Korean, so we don't wear shoes in the house.  Set those little toe piggies free!

Wine and popcorn are a thing.  Ask Olivia Pope.  I feel like it's the perfect way to unwind and catch up with your date, and it's perfect coffee table fare.  Just mind the cats, if you're at my place.  if you're a fellow wine and popcorn fan, here are some combos that People.com put out for Scandal fans.

Oh, and I eat popcorn like Amy Schumer does.  This is why we'd be friends.

Be sure to head over to Wild+Wanderful or Gardening in High Heels to check out the other brilliant bloggers, sewists and stylistas on the tour, as well as be able to link up your own looks and show us what you would Wear to Where!
