New Bedding!

In an effort to make my apartment a little less, well, overtly girly, I shopped around quite a bit to find some more gender neutral bedding.  I found the Bryan Keith Tango set online at Macy's, 50% off regular pricing, and sent it to Duke via e-mail.  He told me it was a good choice, so I ordered it with high hopes we'd found something we could both like.

I'm currently into grey and yellow (my latest accent pillows in the living room fit the scheme) so this set attracted me right away.  I love that it's reversible, because I really dig the ikat side.  I find that since apartment walls are so bare and beige, having a pop of color in furniture and bedding really jazzes things up.

Once it arrived, Duke and I both agreed to keep it.  I usually buy all my bedding at TJ Maxx/Marshall's, and this price point was actually very similar.  There were more pillows/shams than we know what to do with, but it's a good fit for us.  I have a white bedroom set, so the ikat side makes it all a bit "light", but truth be told we're not good about making the bed that often anyways.

Which is why there are no actual photos.  Ha!  It's soft, comfy, and it's not pink.  Done.
