Forever 21 Shopping Haul

I did a little (okay, a BIG little) online shopping on Forever 21, trying to up the number of sweaters in my closet!  Winters here in Nashville are way colder than Savannah, so I realized I was deficient in clothing warm enough not to freeze to death.

I don't go to Forever 21 for quality.  I go for cheap and trendy.  And I ended up really like the pieces I ordered once they arrived!  I hope to buy some quality pieces from stores like J. Crew in the future, but this time I just wanted quick, fun, and easy.

Longline Chambray Shirt, $29.80

I wore this comfy, longline chambray shirt to work.  I definitely got compliments!  It's such a great basic for wearing alone or with layers.
Polka Dot Sweater, $17.50
Talk about a pop of color!

Nautical C'est La Vie Sweater, $24.80
I was a French major.  I couldn't resist.

Ditsy Feline Sweater, $19.80
Can you say crazy cat lady?  I work for a pet food company, so this is just fitting after all.

      And that sweater comes in multiple colors for under $20! For the price, I was impressed by the quality. It's not J. Crew, but it is fun.

    I need a wardrobe overhaul SO BAD. My first plan though is to go through everything and do some serious throwing out/donating. I have so much stuff I don't wear at all.

      I keep a garbage bag in my closet that I toss clothes into!!! Did you see the Wardrobe Editing chart I put on FB? (link below) It has helped me a lot. Mostly getting me to get rid of stuff that is too small but I'm in denial over keeping since I am not, um, shrinking as fast as I'd like.

    Still funny that we unknowingly ordered the same dot sweater! :) warning: the only reliable material for Crew sweaters is merino - the quality of the others have gone way downhill. Some of my F21 sweaters have actually held up better than my J Crew ones...and Crew is probably my favorite store.

      Forever 21 has strength in synthetics, LOL. I accidentally ran a J. Crew sweater through the wash/dry that was dry clean only (oops) but it held up fine. I pretty much never buy anything that isn't machine washable these days, but this was a gift.

    I've gotten a bunch of fun trendy sweaters from F21 this winter too. Sure they may not last forever, but probably next season I don't want to wear birds all over myself, hehe. That French sweater is so cute!

      Hahaha, I was just thinking the same thing about my cat sweater. It got a ton of compliments, but I wonder how long I will be able to get away with the trend. :)
