Business Cards with Moo

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Dan was recently promoted to Brewmaster at the craft brewery where he works.  After watching him network (and ask me for scraps of paper from my purse to hand out his contact info), the corporate diva in me knew what he needed:  snazzy business cards from Moo.

I've ordered mini cards and business cards from Moo before, so I knew I could customize the cards to fit the brewery's aesthetic and Dan's personal penchant for the color black.  I chose to do the brewery logo on one side, and Dan's info and a color photo on the other.  The photo was from a shoot done at the brewery, and I felt like it just screamed "beer".  I love the matte finish on the cards, so that was definitely something I selected for this set.

I know, watch me subtly try to cover up information linking to Dan's job... mostly to spare
him the embarrassment of people reading my nerdy blog and telling him about it.

Since this was a surprise gift, and I knew Dan would eventually get a new work e-mail address, I only ordered a small quantity.  Moo saves the design, so I can always go back in and tweak the contact information.  You can even do multiple designs in one order, which may be another thing we do someday!

Dan loved the gift.  They're his first professional business cards to date, so he was extremely gracious and has already started to carry them with him.  I'd say this was a successful surprise for my guy, one that will hopefully help him as he takes this next step in his career.

  1. I'm looking for a classier option than vista print for my business cards. I will be checking them out.

  2. I love them! And, you can even do some for your blog, some for personal, all in the same order, because you can mix and match. They're fab. They even do beautiful rounded corners.

  3. I love these! I have no reason to have business cards, but this post makes me want to click on over to Moo right this second!

  4. You know, I actually was thinking about how these business cards would be the perfect wallet-sized photo gift. I feel like so few people get photos printed these days, it would be great to add two-sided photo cards to a Christmas card, thank you note, etc. I think it would be fun to do a two-sided card of my cats like baseball cards LOL.

Plus, I totally used my blog as an excuse to get business cards with my social media links and blog e-mail on them. The minute people ask about your blog, you don't want them to have to memorize a URL. :) Look for promos and discounts!

  5. so glad I came across your blog today! a.) it's super cute and I'm glad to be following along now on bloglovin and b.) I am wanting to order business cards and VOILA! this post is about business cards. it's a sign....ha

  6. Kismet! This is my THIRD order from Moo and I couldn't be more pleased. I think they're the best.

  7. I love this! As soon as I get the new identity image for my blog, I plan on ordering some! There is one other site I read about and am currently checking out. I agree with the previous comment that the VistaPrint ones I have used with previous jobs left a lot to be desired.

  8. Not entirely. Just some spiffing! I have never been 100% satisfied with my blog's appearance...and I am looking for a new "Kimmie" to put in the upper right. I have one, I just need to get the final image.

  9. Great post, a business cards can show your potential customer what you are all about, a smart business man should always carry some business cards in his pocket.
