FIRST EVER Blog Giveaway!!!

That's right, folks! I'm doing my first ever BLOG GIVEAWAY. And let me tell you, the odds are good to win this one.

I blog a lot about baking, though I haven't posted all of my past baking endeavors. One of the things I am most known for among friends and coworkers is my CUPCAKES.

While I always strive to bake delicious recipes for my cupcakes, I really think it is the presentation that makes people love them so much. Just taking the extra time to pipe your frosting into a cute swirl, maybe adding some sprinkles, really makes an impact! I've even passed of boxed cake mix cupcakes (gasp!) as works of art that people assume I spent hours working on.

The secret? Books like Hello, Cupcake! The design ideas are simple but eye-popping and adorable. Since I have WAY too many cookbooks (and cupcake books) and have learned all the tricks/lessons this one has to offer, I am giving away my PERSONAL copy (in near-flawless condition) of this book, mailed directly to you! :)

All you have to do is follow these steps to be eligible!

1) Follow my blog. Look to the right, and find the "Followers" area. Using your Google/Twitter/Yahoo/AIM/OpenID/etc. log-in, choose to "Follow publicly" and you will be listed as a Follower!

2) Post a comment to this blog entry, telling me about the best cupcake (taste or design!) that you've ever had!

It's that easy! I will be picking a random winner MONDAY, May 2nd, at 5 p.m. Eastern time.

  2. Hi Aubrey! Love the blog! Also, this book looks so cute! My two favorite cupcakes are:
    1. A BluBoy cupcake in Bloomington that was chocolate with a whipped peanut butter frosting topped with a peanut and salty caramel.
    2. A raspberry champagne cupcake from the Cupcakery in Las Vegas! It was done with a star tip and had shimmer to it!

  6. Your blog is super cute! Why haven't I been following it until now? We got some super cute cupcakes when Olivia was born. They had icing and then fondant on top. I had never had fondant before so I was excited to try it :-) And the cupcake book looks really cute! Grace would love it I am sure (although she only eats frosting and not cake). I don't know how much Dustin would appreciate it though with a PT test in the near future ;-)

  7. Since this is about baking I am all game. The best cupcakes I have ever made were little yellow alien ones with piped yellow frosting with icing eyes (with M&Ms on top) and then a licorice mouth. I cheated though with funfetti cupcakes (I can't resist its my fav and I am all about aesthetics- with good taste of course). Now if we start talking about gingerbread people or houses... those are all from scratch!

  11. I'm following via GFC!
My favorite tasting cupcakes are chocolate guinness with cream cheese frosting. They're so good! But the cupcakes I enjoy the most are the ones I let my 4 year old son decorate. They may not be the prettiest, but they're the most special!
    Thanks for the chance!
